Before you can become a great player you must become an athlete. The development of the athlete must have an equal or greater priority then the development of the player. Especially with younger athletes. Better athletes have the potential to become better players in a specific sport.

For example, if we test 200 kids in various athletic tests (run, jump, reaction, coordination, balance, strength etc.) and I take the top 10 and you take the bottom ten. Who is more likely to be able to build a better basketball team? Your answer probably is the top ten. Why? Better athletes. Now if I take the bottom ten and spend the next 2 or 3 years training them on becoming better athletes.

Working the aforementioned areas correctly and consistently while the other group rests on their natural talent. They choose to rely on natural born talent alone. We retest the same groups and now my group outscores the other group. Why? They were built into better athletes. Nothing more, now my group are better athletes. Now which group will you choose?

If you combine that philosophy with a sport specific training goal as well you will have a greater player as well as a better athlete. Athletes are built over time not overnight.

When you are ready to BUILD A BETTER ATHLETE we are here for you!
